Tembo Barcelona

This hotel is wonderful. From the rooftop pool to the self-serve laundry room. Our room also had a small kitchenette area and had a coffee and tea pot as well as a stove top. There was a small dining room table and a large comfy couch to enjoy watching tv. Roomy bathroom and a great shower. The breakfast buffet was wonderful as well. A large variety of choices and all was very tasty. Top notch all around.

While having a laundromat available was wonderfully convenient, I thought it was quite pricey. Over 5 euros to wash and 7 euros to dry is ridiculously high. I felt held hostage. But it was nice to have it on the property.

So comfortable and were treated so special. All the staffs were accommodating and so friendly, helpful and very speak good english. Everything you need to make it convenient is all there. I love the skyline bar. Perfect!

- Nice location, not very far from center. Shopping center and museum of natural sciences are within walking distance. There's a small super market outside in case needed and some places to eat around. - Super clean and comfortable rooms. We had a lovely sea view as well. - Personnel is friendly and kind. Especially the man who took care of our luggage, was very prompt and helpful every time he saw us and he also spoke great English. Unfortunately I cannot recall his name. - The view from the pool is great.

- Breakfast was one of the worst we ever had unfortunately. Everything seemed as if it had sat there for some days and was completely tasteless. It's a shame to have so bad omelet, which is extremely easy to make. The bakery stuff was also not fresh. The coffee was not good either and the cups were also not clean enough. Also, there was basically no kid options, so our daughter could barely eat anything. - There is a general bad odor in the area, like a mix of rubbish and toilet, which would come and go. Unfortunately it would reach the pool as well. I could sometimes smell it from my balcony as well. So not very enjoyable. - The pool is very small, so always crowded and there are also no umbrellas. Some days there were also no towels and they would tell you later you need to go to the reception to get one. It would be good to inform guests about this in advance, nobody wants to go half wet to the reception all the way from 17th floor to zero. - The self laundry area within the hotel also smelled very very bad, again like toilet, which you would not expect, especially in a laundry area.

Rooms a good size

Breakfast is not good enough and there is not a lot of room and it is very busy.
