The house was beautiful, decorated very tastefully and full of lovely things but still managed to feel welcoming and friendly. Situation. was perfect Not sure that it is achievable, but the addition of a downstairs toilet would make a big difference to those with small children and who are less mobile. There were a lot of stairs to climb!

I honestly can’t even put into words just how incredible of a property the Old Counting House is. As Cornish natives, we have often visited the Lizard and surrounding area over the years, and I simply cannot think of a more perfect location to call “home” whilst enjoying my favourite place on earth! The building itself is gorgeous, the decor/ fit and finish is absolutely stunning and suits it PERFECTLY, the location on the boatyard is the epitome of cosy and the place was immaculately clean upon arrival. The cream tea hamper (plus other freebies) waiting for us in the kitchen was a massive bonus as well! The ability for this property to provide such an immense amount of space, whilst still retaining that warm and cosy vibe that you want in a place like Gweek is seriously impressive, and I cannot praise the owners enough for achieving this to such a great extent. Without a doubt an 11/10 experience. We cannot wait to do it all again next year, and hopefully for many years to come! 😁

A truly wonderful space with a great shop and pub nearby. Great hot tub, comfy beds. Would definitely book again.
