Saju Kyoto 茶住 京都

Very nice traditional room. Good location and the nicest staff

The bathroom is super tiny and you need to use the stairs to bring your luggage up and down, even though the staff helps you with them too.

We had a wonderful stay at SAJU Kyoto. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very comfortable, but what made our stay especially memorable was Mia. She was incredibly kind, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable. We really felt personally cared for, which made a big difference during our stay. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and everything is very thoughtfully done. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Kyoto. Thank you, Mia, for making our time in Kyoto even more special!

The bathroom is small

Great location and super clean. Staff were very friendly. Wonderful, traditional Ryokan experience.

The room was tiny, but that’s what we expected. Two adults is the maximum number of people. If you plan on taking large suitcase pick somewhere else, you won’t be able to open it in the room.

The location is good. The place seems new and looks very nice. The hosts are very pleasant.

The room smelled of cooked food. After a short time we would become accustomed to it but each time we entered it was overwhelming.
