Belmonte LR Collection

Decor, great sized apartments, in a traditional building but with modern contemporary interior. Everything you needed, even a pair of hair straighteners. Great location, easy walking distance into all the four main areas and must see attractions. Rosy was fantastic and really helpful.

We liked the front room we had, great view of the port, the main road was a little noisy but I would stay again in the room or request a back or side option.

Room and facilities were great. Clean, modern Italian touch that is a 10 min walk into the centre of Palermo. Great check in information via WhatsApp, especially around the local app for parking. There were reports in previous reviews about safety etc. we never felt unsafe or that the area required caution - it’s a busy Sicilian city, embrace it!

Area around the hotel is still developing, with works ongoing around the apartment location & nearby marina. This is not at the fault of Belmonte LR Collection, once it’s done it will really add to the place.

Clean rooms, responsive staff, good location, safe neighborhood.

We had some confusion about check-in, after a long international flight. Reception desk is not staffed until 10 am, and was not told this ahead of time though I told them we would arrive around 9. May have been a translation issue. After a few minutes of confusion, we were able to be buzzed in and leave our luggage in unattended reception room. Stairwell is DARK unless you hit light switch near 2nd floor entrance. There was no obvious way to turn on light from the ground floor, this is a safety issue. Be ready to use your phone flashlight. Our room had little to no storage for luggage and clothing. Family members in other rooms had a full shelving unit, we had a metal bar with a few hangers.

The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. The location was great and walkable to many popular areas, the weekend market, the shopping district, the waterfront area. Nice restaurants are nearby as well. Wifi worked great.

We somehow missed that this was not a traditional hotel during the booking process. This is a group of rooms on one floor of a residential building. There is a small elevator and very dark stairwell to get up to the "aparthotel." We were traveling with 3 other couples so we booked 4 of the 5 (possibly 6?) rooms on the floor. We arrived to the building at 9am and one person in our party was in touch with Rosy, who was very nice, and was arriving at 10am. We were given a code to get into the "lobby" which was a large foyer with a desk. We left our luggage in that space to go get water and snacks while we waited for Rosy to arrive at 10. Once she arrived at least we knew there were eyes on our belongings. 2 couples were arriving later and we took their keys for them as Rosy was leaving at 3pm. Our room didn't have a traditional locking door that you rely on in a hotel room. We had to lock it from the inside to be secure in our room. This was not super comforting. There is no staff on site after 3pm on any day of the week. You are requested to start a WhatsApp chat with reception to communicate any issues. If this feels awkward or uncomfortable--this is not the place for you.
