Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Fort Myers - Airport

This place was a great value for a quick stay before an early morning flight the next day. The room was surprisingly quiet, despite how noisy the hallway seemed. Front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful with the minor issue I had.

Either I didn't read the fine print or just didn't realize that apparently the rooms don't come with coffee machines? They told me coffee was provided in the lobby from 6am, but I had to leave at 5am to catch my flight... thankfully, the lady at the front desk very kindly went out of her way to find a coffee machine that I could have for the night. But apparently they're not standard, nor are any utensils/cups/plates in the rooms.

The hotel is brand new, with clean and well-maintained facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful, doing their best to assist whenever needed. You got what you pay for.

Although the hotel and staff were nice, my experience was not as relaxing as I had hoped. To begin with, I did not receive the room I had originally booked, and I had actually paid extra for that specific room. When I spoke to the front desk, I was told that the hotel was fully booked and that there was nothing they could do, and that I would need to contact Booking.com. Secondly, my room was not as clean as it should have been. There was hair in the microwave, on the sink, and on the floor, as well as dust throughout the room. I also noticed small stains on the bedding, and the bathtub had quite a bit of dust and was not properly clean. On top of that, the bathroom fan was not working. The staff was friendly and polite, but unfortunately, these issues affected my overall experience and made my stay less relaxing than expected.
