Elmar Hostel

The hostel is beautifully designed with nice lounging areas, beautiful bathrooms, and the layout of the dorm was peaceful and felt spacious. Nice and easygoing staff, accommodating to my specific needs. Not a party hostel (when I was there), so it actually felt relaxing which I wanted, if you wanted to socialize you can go to other places but still come back in peace.

Breakfast could have been a bit better but still not bad. Not on the lagoon but still close enough. There is a party across the street every night where I can hear the music until late. I’d recommend the staff to put mosquito mesh on the windows of the dorm when they are open during the day

Non do mai 10 come punteggio, ma questo ostello merita il massimo perché è tutto perfetto.

Petit hotel calme et bien tenu. Si vous souhaitez faire la fête vous n'avez qu'à traverser la rue. Très bon wifi. Le lagon n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied pour se baigner dès le matin et le centre de Bacalar est seulement à 5 min. Les vélos mis à disposition sont un vrai plus !

La qualité du matelas, trop mou...ça va pour quelques nuits maximum.

‘Gratis ontbijt’ bestaat uit een stuk fruit en koffie en thee. Maar niet elke ochtend is dit er. Kan je geen ontbijt noemen. Luidruchtig hostel. Je kan mensen in ruimtes verderop woordelijk verstaan.
