The Timberline

This is a self-check-in, which is an interesting process, but it worked well if you don't mind being stuck on your cell phone to get through it. The biggest drawback is that standard television is not available. It took me a while to log into a streaming service to view the world cup game I wanted to see the evening I checked in. Also, there is no A/C. A good window fan would have been fine, but despite the evening being cool, and not humid, the room was quite warm. The location is very good, being only a few blocks from the center of the historical district. Overall, I would use the facility again. It was very clean, and had both plenty of towels and rags (a nice touch.) The staff, when I met them were also very helpful, and had good local knowledge.

It reminded me of the motel I stayed several times in Nags Head in the OBX. Family oriented. Nice.

The hotel was very walkable to restaurants and shops in Leadville. It was a great location.
