House Rules/Terms and Conditions for the Vacation Rental
Our vacation rental is a smoke-free property.
We therefore ask that you NOT smoke inside the apartment. Thank you very much.
Please let us know your estimated arrival time if it differs from the specified arrival times. The key card will be handed over at the front desk, and if you require any additional services—such as reserving a paid parking space in the underground garage—these can be arranged on an individual basis.
We provide bed linens for the duration of your stay. You do not need to remove the sheets before your departure.
Used dishes should be returned to the cabinets clean and dry; there is no need to strip the beds.
Before you leave, please simply pile all used towels on the floor.
Bathroom.
To prevent limescale buildup, please wipe down the tiles and glass in the shower after showering.
Leave the window open—and, if possible, the door as well—to air out the room.
Do not throw or pour any hygiene products, trash, food scraps, harmful liquids, grease, or similar items into the shower or toilet, as this can cause unpleasant clogs. Please use the facilities provided.
Damage
No one intentionally damages property, but accidents can happen to anyone. Should this happen, we ask that you report the damage to us immediately so that we do not discover it during the final cleaning after your departure.
The guest is liable for damages in the amount of the replacement costs.
Bedding
Unless otherwise agreed, the cost of the final cleaning is included in the total price. It is calculated based on a standard cleaning service. If you would like an additional cleaning, please let us know!
Hair Dryer
We provide a hair dryer for the duration of your stay. You’ll find it in the cabinet under the sink.
Liability
The landlord is not liable for the guest(s)’ valuables.
Towels
We provide towels for the duration of your stay. You’ll find additional towels in the cabinet under the sink.
Please simply leave the used towels on the floor before you leave. First-aid kit
A small first-aid kit is available in case of an emergency; you’ll find it in the cabinet under the sink. However, we hope you won’t need it.PGJyPgHouse RulesPGJyPgUnder certain circumstances, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the vacation rental without the guest’s knowledge.
Pets
Pets are allowed in the apartment.
Internet/Wi-Fi
Wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available in the vacation rental. The
access code is posted inside the vacation rental.
Upon request, we will provide you with a travel crib for children, including bedding, and/or a high chair free of charge. Please treat the kitchen furnishings and appliances with care. Please return dishes to the cabinets only when they are dry and clean. The same applies to cutlery, pots, and appliances you have used. Please put everything back the way you would like to find it yourself.
Do not throw or pour any waste, food scraps, harmful liquids, grease, or similar items into the sink, as this can cause unpleasant clogs.
Ventilation
To prevent mold growth, please ventilate the rooms sufficiently—at least one thorough airing (5–10 minutes) per day, and especially after showering.
Trash
Since we are required to sort trash, we ask that you help us with this.
Trash must be sorted as follows:
- Packaging material (yellow bag), i.e., all packaging with the Green Dot.
- Paper (blue trash can). The bin for this is located by the coat check.
- Organic waste (green bin), i.e., fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee filters, tea bags, etc. - General waste (anything not covered by the first two categories)
- We will dispose of glass bottles and returnable bottles for you upon request.
We provide trash bags.
You can park directly in the underground garage on the property.
In the event of a short-term failure of furnishings, public utilities, or due to force majeure, there is no entitlement to a price reduction. Any defects in the vacation rental must be reported to the landlord immediately. The guest shall grant the landlord a reasonable period of time to remedy the defects. Complaints made at a later date will not be accepted and cannot be taken into account.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in our vacation rental. Damage such as burn marks and holes in or on furniture, flooring, bedding, etc., will result in us having to charge you for the replacement cost.
Smoking is permitted on the entire property. Please
do not discard cigarette butts on the ground; instead, place them in the provided ashtrays or in the general waste.
Cleaning
If you happen to have an accident (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or countertops, etc.), please clean it up immediately. Brooms, dustpans, a vacuum cleaner, and cleaning supplies are available. You can obtain a bucket and mop in the main building.
We ask that you leave the vacation rental swept clean upon departure and return all used dishes to the cabinets, clean and dry.
The front door can only be opened from the outside with a key card. Please do not slam the door shut carelessly; instead, make sure you have your key card with you. The front door should always be kept closed and locked with the key card whenever you leave the house. Likewise, all windows must be closed when you leave the apartment to prevent potential damage from severe weather or break-ins.
