Cumberland Hotel

First, I didn’t use the amenities but I accidentally hit a star and it wouldn’t let me not leave a star so I gave it 5 stars because I didn’t want my lower star to hurt the property. The hotel is close to what you need, the staff is very kind, and the hotel was clean. You won’t be sorry!

Hotels in Edinburgh can be quite pricey, and this was a good hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The room feels a bit older and a tad worn, but it met our needs of clean, safe, convenient, and affordable. It’s a little bit off the beaten path, but it is still possible to walk to Old Town if you are up for a longer walk. If not, there is a bus stop immediately outside the hotel that made it very convenient to hop on a bus to the city center.

There was a cleanliness issue with our first room but we alerted staff and they took care of it right away. We're very attentive and ensured our stay was pleasant. It is an old building but they have really added the modern touches needed to make it feel comfortable and picturesque at the same time. Just a small thing, but we loved the QR code to get on the wifi, so quick and easy. Great stay, thank you!

Everything was OK. Good location at the Airlink bus and also close to the town centre by walk.
