This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and it just gets better. My only disappointment was we were only staying for one night and not many more. The staff are outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. Our room was amazing too! We were visiting family in the area so it was only a short walk from the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous property but the staff make it special: Danny, Oksana, Robert, and the rest made the stay special and memorable. Thank you.

I always choose Hotels du Vin above any others, for location, ambience, personnel, comfort, welcome, taste in furnishings, and consistent, amazing cuisine.
Should I ever inherit, win, a substantial amount of money I wouldn't desert Hotel du Vin for anything so-called upmarket. I love boutique, loathe big fancy alternatives. York is lovely, Newcastle the favourite....until we visited Glasgow. I'm now torn between these 2. Not so impressed with Edinburgh but that was wholly down to the building; otherwise Edinburgh is fine.
If I need an uplift, Hotel du Vin - a meal or stay - ticks all my boxes. Really grateful we have these residences.
