Absolutely top recommendation for The Bowes Hotel! Everything was perfect, great room (Pottery Room for us), great staff, great beer, great food, great location. Absolutely nothing we did not like apart from leaving. A first visit which I really hope will not be our last. Great work by the team here.

Lovely small hotel. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Huge breakfast. Good evening meals. Just off the A69 and very close to Vindalanda and Hadrians wall. We eere sad to leave.
