We did a day trip to Deir Al Qamar, Moussa Castle and Beit El Din Palace.
Spent the evening/night at hotel.
Next day we went up to the Cedar reserve for a moderate hike.
The weather was great, enjoyed the scenery and the fresh clean air.
The hotel is well located on the route of this road trip which is worth it. Very clean and hospitable staff.

We had a wonderful stay. The room and premises are nicely designed and comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food is excellent, and the surrounding area--especially the cedar forest--is stunning.
