We really enjoyed the decor. The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We stayed here to be close to Boone for graduation. It was a 30 minute drive which was not bad at all.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Remote and beautiful with great access to West Jefferson and Boone. Perfect place to run away to and enjoy life for a few days. Property had everything we needed and was well maintained. If work interrupts your get away great internet and mobile (Verizon) service.

House is very private. Great location if you want equal distance to Boone and West Jefferson. Cabin has everything (exceptt ice trays) as ice maker in fridge didn't work. Remedied that with some bag ice. Definitely returning during warmer months to take advantage of kayaks supplied for cruising down the river.
