Bear Neccessities was amazing and perfect for our needs. Property was easily accessible, despite rainy (followed by snowy) conditions. The kids loved being able to hang out in the great room with the fireplace going, and my wife and I enjoyed the quiet. We had an interesting run-in with a couple of Carolina Wrens upon check-in, but that was more amusing than anything. We had an excellent stay at Bear Necessities in Todd. The house was exactly as described and the location was so peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing mornings on the porch, went tubing on the New River, and squeezed in a campfire and smores. We would love to return in the fall sometime to enjoy a bike ride along the Railroad Grade Road.

We enjoyed the cabin. The house was a bit quirky with the rooms but we made it work. The porch was our favorite place to hang out. We loved taking the dogs to the river so close to the house. The cabin is well- equipped and clean!!! Thanks for the memories!
