Pensiunea Casa Veche

Everything! The hosts were charming, and spoke excellent English. The small compound has maybe four units; it’s very peaceful. Units were clean and modern. IF you’re hoping for meal(s) it seems they can accommodate you, but I think you might need to set this up BEFORE arriving. (When booking I submitted a note asking for breakfast, and the next morning enjoyed a great meal.)

I can think of nothing negative to say… it felt like a vacation, even though for me it was a one-night stop on a bike ride to Odesa.

Zaharia and Tatiana are such lovely people and wonderful hosts. We talked with them for hours during and after our dinner, the conversations were so interesting and deep. They are very open, you can talk with them about everything. Moreover, their english is really good as they studied linguistics in the past! The location and pensiunea itself are amazing also. It's in the middle of a quiet village with the place itself feeling like an oasis with beautiful old houses, nicely decorated rooms and lots of animals & plants including a small vineyard. Diving more into detail with the rooms. It was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a well equipped Bathroom. The food this place has to offer is also amazing! Everything is locally sourced and made traditionally. Its some of the best dinner we have had in Moldova, truly felt like home cooking. The breakfast was also delicious. I'd love to come back in the future and advice anyone to take the effort to go here and visit these amazing people!

The only small problem was that the shower drain wasn't working properly so the bathroom could get quite wet if you showered too long.
