Birds Farm

Really comfortable bed. Super clean. Great for a couple of nights stay. Close to the University to meet up with our daughter. Would recommend the Beth Chatto Garden near by for a visit.

We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .

We really enjoy our stay at the farm. The location is very convenient, in a quiet spot but close to a well connected road. Our duplex had everything we needed for a short stay including a well equipped kitchen when and bathroom with toiletries. We took advantage of the amenities of the farm including the playing area with plenty of toys for a toddler aged child as well as pool and foosball tables and outdoor space (swimming pool was still close at this time). Only minor comments - the floor of the indoors game room was a bit dirty with possibly some dead bugs laying there in one of the sections of the room. Also the room temperature was on the warmer side in the rooms (~26C) when we arrived. All in all though we enjoyed our stay and we will be coming back

Fabulous find, great communication from owner, arrived late and excellent direction to rental was given. On entering the property was very impressed, what a bargain for such a lovely property. Would definitely recommend Birds Farm if your visiting Colchester or surrounding areas.
