Easy parking and check-in. Warm country-farmhouse style décor. Breakfast was pleasantly unusual, with copious portions that I was unable to finish so early in the day... Great stop-off location for the Glendalough visitor centre, or the Powerscourt Gardens, which I highly recommend also.
Shame about the broken toilet cistern - however, the manageress provided a very large bottle of water, and a complementary bottle of wine (+ 2 glasses) for the inconvenience... We stayed on a sunday night, and were surprised to find that the dinner service on sundays ended at 6pm..! No big deal, as another local pub provided very acceptable alternatives. The "highest pub in Ireland" was accross the road, a reminder that we were in the Wicklow mountains.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Helen was hilarious. And the breakfast was bar none, the best we’ve encountered.

The breakfast was very nice, though very busy.
On our Wicklow Way we stayed here. It was the most expensive accommodation of the trail and also the one with the least personal touch. The restaurant was overpriced for what they were serving: good food, but overpriced. Staff made two mistakes in the order, something you would not expect for that price. The room had a rather noisy airvent next it from the kitchen. No space to leave the suitcase in the room, too tight to move around.
