The property was gorgeous and the staff and hosts were very friendly. You need a car to explore the area which I didn’t have. Don’t make that mistake! However the hostess went out of her way to make me a gorgeous dinner spread out of simple ingredients one night so I didn’t have to walk a mile in the heat or pay for an expensive taxi to town. I would highly recommend this to fellow solo female travelers for comfort, safety, privacy and an easy area of Italy to navigate around Viareggio, Cinque Terre and Lucca!

Fantastic place to relax!
The family estate is just wonderful with all the outdoor areas, pool, garden, tennis court and ”outside rooms”. Highly recommended for people who need to unwind.
