We chose Fairview Manor as a stopover after landing in Johannesburg before heading to Welgevonden National Park, and it was the perfect choice. The location is highly convenient and feels very safe. The room was cozy with a great hot shower, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and nice. Highly recommended!
While it makes the place safe, the entry procedure at the gate is quite annoying. You have to show your ID, enter a PIN, etc. every single time you return, even if you just left for a quick moment.

The breakfast was good. I would have like to have options in terms of what is being served and to choose.
The room is spacious and very nice.
There was a drinks menu in the room but nobody was available to serve it.
