The house was at a great location and host was responsive. We had a blast and kids had a great time. A couple of things to comment on was that the WiFi leaves much to be desired. Seems like it really struggles with a large group, it would grind to halt getting about 5 mb/s, lower speeds then 3G mobile data. Pool was pretty dirty, not sure if there was a filter, but we were able to get it cleaned up. Not much childproofing options, had to do some makeshifting to block infants from going up and downstairs. Other than that, stay was a blast.

Perfect house in a perfect location. Family had a wonderful time on the lake and in the pool. One of our best family vacations ever.

Overall we had a great time, the location was great and the proximity of the house was perfect.. but there were a few things that stood out about the house that were a little disappointing. It seems maybe the house is not finished yet, there are no rugs which creates a lot of sound when trying to sleep upstairs or down. There were many cobwebs and small bugs (but I guess to be expected at a lake house?), the worst part was the shuffleboard table downstairs…it created so much sand everywhere and it was impossible to clean up completely. The pool was so hot because lack of shade so unfortunately we couldn’t use it, and did not want to pay the 250 fee to have it cooled. These were just minor things that I think could be avoided by the hosting company, but overall we had a great time and enjoyed the lake and the area of Mooresville!
