Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Cal Expo

Love the rates we had for the room and the room was spacious and had everything in case you needed to cook and keep food for a few days

We were next to the door to go to parking lot and when it shut, it rattled the whole room and that was next to the bedroom so all night it rattled

Everything was clean. Staff was more than wonderful. Breakfast was pretty good except one of the four days.

I thought the breakfast was very good and had a great selection of options. The location was very convenient, especially being close enough to the highway that it was easy to get to and get back on the road when needed, and I wasn’t bothered by traffic noise during my stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice and spacious. Overall, I thought the breakfast, location, and room were all great.

Honestly, I can’t think of much that could be improved because everything was clean, well-maintained, and worked as it should, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. During my second stay, I arrived late at night after a camping trip, and the front desk staff went out of her way to find me a room without a connecting door and even recommended a first-floor room to help minimize noise. Overall, I really don’t have anything negative to say—the staff and facilities were both excellent.

It was very clean. Breakfast was delightful. Pretty easy to find the rooms I booked.

I didn’t like that I booked my rooms for a weekend online and I was still charged by the staff for a deposit of $245 even though my booking stated that all I needed was to check in and receive key. I asked for room service to tidy up one of 3 rooms that I booked and was never taken care of, just towels at midnight.
