Delta King Hotel

A wonderful historic hotel, this is not your modern faceless hotel but a quiky place to stay, room is small but comfortable so bear this in mind if you have different expectations. The hotel has a nice bar and you can sit outside on deck in the evening enjoying the view and the breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed our stay plus it is perfect for visiting Old Town Sacramento.

Location is excellent. Food in the Restaurant is also excellent.

Rooms are VERY Small and Tight. Unfortunately, during our stay, there were many Sea Lions around the boat/hotel. Cool to observe, but VERY Noisy Barking during the night. Not much the hotel can do about the Sea Lions. Book a room on the CITY side instead of the River Side.

The location was great. It's located right down town.. Most stores close early on the weekdays. Some are not open at all. The boat was neat . It was right of the river.

The bed was creaky, and the sheets were rough and scratchy. Some seals across the river were camped out there, and they were loud at times. Our room was 50 feet from the front desk, and the walls were paper thin. I could when a new guess was checking in. There were these electronic doors right on the other side of the wall next to my room . They were so loud you could hear them open and close, every time a guest went out on the deck.
