Michelbach is a neighborhood of Marburg with about 2,000 residents—a village surrounded by nature!
Access to the city of Marburg via city bus!
The village has a general store, restaurant, hair salon, and doctors.
For a wider variety of shopping options, Marburg is about 6 km away, and Lahntal (Rewe, Aldi, kebab, pizza, etc.) is about 3 km away.
After our grandmother moved into a retirement home, we lovingly renovated her apartment on the lower floor of our house and would like to offer it as a vacation rental.
In the front yard, we’ve set up an outdoor seating area with patio furniture for our guests.
Upper Hesse is beautiful! There are lovely bike paths and hiking trails here.
The university town of Marburg offers a vibrant student life in a historic setting. Pub culture, theater, cabaret, cultural programs, and more—there’s something for every taste.
The city of Marburg has introduced a municipal tourism fee!
This municipal tourism fee (visitor’s tax) is not included in the booking price and will be charged separately on site.
The fee is 2 € per person per day. Children under 6 years of age, trainees, patients, and their companions are exempt from the fee.

The apartment is 66 m² and is divided into 2 bedrooms (one bedroom with 1 double bed measuring 1.8 m x 2 m; the second bedroom has two single beds measuring 0.9 m x 2 m), a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. In the front yard, we’ve set up an outdoor seating area with patio furniture for our guests.
Private parking space in front of the entrance!
On-site fees: Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged at 50% of the total price. Payment is accepted in cash or by bank transfer. Check-in begins at 2:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person on-site or via a key safe.Pets are allowed upon request. Crib: available upon request.
