Green Lander Ubud

Our stay at Green Lander Villa was truly one of the highlights of our time in Ubud. What made it so special was not only the beautiful property and its surroundings, but above all the people Jun, Wayan and Marley were exceptional throughout our entire stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. They were always attentive, incredibly kind and willing to help with anything we needed. They also gave us wonderful recommendations and helped us organize experiences that allowed us to discover a much more authentic side of Bali, away from the busiest tourist areas The same warmth extends to the entire team. Everyone we met — from the kitchen and bar staff to the people taking care of the gardens — always greeted us with a smile and made us feel cared for. There is a genuine sense of hospitality here that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself We also really enjoyed the food. Breakfasts and meals were delicious, and the coffee was excellent. Being able to enjoy them surrounded by rice fields and tropical vegetation made everything even better The location itself is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. At night, you can hear frogs, insects and other animals all around the property, and instead of feeling like noise, it becomes part of the experience. Sitting there at night listening to nature was genuinely magical and made us feel completely disconnected from everyday life and connected with Bali We also have to mention Made, who drove us during our stay. If you need transportation or want to explore the area, we highly recommend asking for him. He is cheerful, kind-hearted and genuinely interested in showing you Bali beyond the usual tourist attractions.

There honestly wasn’t anything we disliked. The property is located away from the main road and cars cannot reach the villa directly, so you need to use the hotel’s transportation for the last part of the journey. However, this was never an inconvenience for us because the team was always available to help, and we actually felt that the secluded location was one of the best parts of staying here. It is what makes the property so peaceful and immersed in nature

Everything was amazing. We loved the nature noises and the open bathroom. 15 minutrs walk from the mainstreet (not accessible by car) but the staff was always there to pick us up to hotel or mainroad. Staff was exceptional. Everybody was always with a smile and always eager to help with everything they could. Specifically Wayan, Jun and Marley where always intrested in our wellbeing ♡ I would definetly come back 😊 Amazing stay.

The location is secluded enough from the main streets of ubud so that you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the surroundings. Ironically, it’s easy enough to access the main streets so that you also can enjoy the hustle and bustle.

The bedroom and luscious bathroom are on different floors. You will need to walk down the stairs, it’s something to note if you don’t like climbing up and down. A suggestion would be to reduce the use of non-recyclable toiletries and have guests re-use them.

The bamboo design and remote location is great if that is what you are wanting

The property was not represented correct on booking.com, it did not have amenities as marketed, for example it was listed as a 5 star resort with gymnasium which it wasnt.
