Charleston's Ahangama

Beautiful property in Ahangama . The pool was fabulous and the rooms beautiful, clean and spacious . Housekeeping left the place impeccable . The owners Domi and Magdalena were very kind and I can’t thankyou enough for their kind hospitality . Loved being greeted every morning by their cute little puppy Nala :) No breakfast at the property which would be nice added touch but options of Nuga House, cafe green or Yaya that do nice breakfast / brunch options a small walk away . Black honey also a short distance away for the best coffee in the paddy fields . They recommended family owned restaurant Le cata for Sri Lankan which the food was so wholesome and tasty .

Staying 5 nights , no option to pay by card payment . It was a lot of currency to carry for this extent of stay. So this would be more convenient to pre pay before arrival or on booking .

The location is quiet, just 10 minutes walk from the beach and main road. The design of the rooms and hotel is much more beautiful than the photos. A lot of attention to details, quality and functionality. The pool was everyday cleaned and so refreshing ! There are a few restaurants in Kabalana itself but most of the cafes and places to eat are along the main road in Ahangama.

We would have preferred to be communicated in advance that payment was possible only with cash and maybe better communication from the host about local recommendations of places for dining.

Exceptionally clean and well looked after. Brand new and well designed. Pool is lovely. Domi is very helpful and kind. You can get a local tasty breakfast a few mins walk away

Es una alojamiento moderno y con una decoración preciosa. Habitación muy amplia. Todo nuevo y muy limpio. La piscina espectacular, muy grande. Tiene una zona común con mesas y cocina por si los huéspedes quieren cocinar. De los alojamientos más bonitos de toda Sri Lanka que hemos estado.
