Shela Bliss

A very special clean two-minute walk from the beach and giving one a real feel for the amazing alleys. Beautiful views from the rooftop lounging area and a comfortable cool dry spot to sit. All the transfers were smooth and well priced. Delicious Swahili breakfast and lemon and ginger welcome drink was the best welcome drink ever. Abdalla, owner, the perfect host. If you stay a few nights dinners are available on request.

One suite had a cool water shower. After camping for 3 weeks we appreciated the hot water in the other suite.

Great location, secure, great view, lovely relaxing place with beautiful decor. Staff were exceptional and the breakfast a treat.

There are a lot of stairs. I didn’t mind. But if you have mobility problems you should check which floor you are on.

I booked a queen room with sea view but there are no rooms with sea view at Shela Bliss. I reported it to the owner he replied that if you exit the room you can see the sea from the terrace. Pictures of the room view are attached. In the 12 pages welcome book he sends before you arrive, with all the activities and all the roules and do's and dont's, not even a word about the NO sea view room. No discount or refund was offered till I asked for it at checkout and I had a poor 15$ discount; you can find no sea view rooms in Shela for half the price of Shela Bliss. Someone already complained about it in January as you can see here on booking, but nothing chenged till some days ago when the descripton was changed to "Queen Room With Direct Access To The Terrace And A Sea View" which is still confusing. Very expencive activities and transfers. Noisy water pressure system even at night.
