The Stay Bosphorus

The service and staff were absolutely spot on throughout our stay. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and professional. The location is fantastic, with beautiful Bosphorus views and everything close by. A really enjoyable experience overall.

Very little to fault. Due to the central location, the surrounding area can be lively at times, but this is to be expected in such a great part of Istanbul. Overall, it didn’t take away from our experience.

Absolutely exceptional — an unforgettable stay! I honestly don’t even know where to begin when describing our experience at The Stay Bosphorus. We stayed for one night, and I can genuinely say it was one of the most beautiful hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculate. The apartment was spotless, beautifully presented, and absolutely stunning. The bedroom area, with its two balconies overlooking the Bosphorus, was simply breathtaking. I don’t think I have ever seen a view quite as beautiful. It was one of those moments where you genuinely stop, take it all in, and feel so grateful to be there. What made our stay even more special, however, was the incredible kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. We arrived quite early, shortly after 11 a.m., well before the usual 3 p.m. check-in time. To our surprise and absolute delight, our apartment was already ready, and the team kindly allowed us to check in early. I cannot express how much this meant to us. We only had one night in Istanbul, and that small but incredibly thoughtful gesture gave us precious extra time to freshen up, get dressed, and explore the beautiful city. It genuinely made such a difference to our experience, and I am so grateful to the team for accommodating us. The breakfast was equally exceptional, with such a wonderful variety of food. Everything was lovely, and it was the perfect way to start our day. Even after checking out the following day, with our taxi not arriving until 4:30 p.m., the staff were more than happy to look after our luggage while we continued exploring Ortaköy. Again, such a thoughtful gesture that made our day so much easier. There was also a rather unexpected situation that day, as the surrounding Ortaköy area was experiencing a water shortage. Remarkably, the hotel still had water available. One of the gentlemen explained that the building was constructed many years ago and did not experience the same issue.

Amazing location and amazing service.

We had an amazing stay. The highlight for us was definitely the balcony and that breathtaking Bosphorus view. Sitting there together, especially in the evening, was such a beautiful and romantic experience. The location is also perfect, with so many great cafés, bars and lounges just a short walk away. What really stood out though was the staff. Everyone was genuinely warm, helpful and very well trained, and we really appreciated the hospitality and support throughout our stay.

The room is quite small, especially considering the price, which I felt was on the expensive side. Storage space is also very limited, and even a small cupboard would make a big difference. Having said that, the view, location and level of hospitality made the overall experience very special.
