The one major negative was the fact we were given an incorrect access code and could not get into the property. When you drive 500 miles to get there, and you cannot get in, that is unacceptable to me. Thank goodness the afterhours phone support was able to get us a code to get in as it was July 4th weekend and I was traveling with my dogs. The house itself was nice, and the outside shower was great to rinse the dogs off. I would stay here again!

Our first time staying in Chincoteague and also vacationing with our dog. We'd call it a success! The moment we walked through the door we felt at home. The house was extremely clean, smelled fresh (which was my worry with a home that accepted dogs), the kitchen stocked to the gill with appliances, utensils, and everything in between. There's a private outside shower with both hot and cold water. You can see the bay through the kitchen window, and we walked out our door and across the grass to a public boat launch where we put our paddleboards in. Such a quiet and peaceful area around the house, and it sets back from the road so you don't hear the cars. My teens loved riding their bikes back and forth into the town and always felt safe. There are two dog-friendly beaches on the bay side about 40 minutes away, but dogs are not permitted on the VA side of Assateague. Communication with Seaside Vacations was excellent, and they checked in with us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed.
