Modern conveniences with a functional layout provide the perfect retreat for your OBX vacation. The great room with vaulted ceilings is bright and cheerful with a colorful beach vibe and features a comfortable sofa and 2 easy chairs and a flatscreen TV. The dining area seats 4 comfortably with two additional seats at the kitchen island. The open kitchen features stainless appliances and is well-equipped to make mealtime a breeze. The den on the lower level is perfect for the kids to have their own spot to watch their favorite shows or movies.
Step outside to the thoughtfully landscaped backyard retreat with plenty of seating and a firepit that will be perfect for roasting marshmallows and making smores. Grill out and dine al fresco with seating and two picnic tables under the house.

Exploring the area: GaGa's Getaway is centrally located between the soundside and the ocean. Helga Street public beach access is just a short walk but no parking is available there. If you want to enjoy the soundside it is just a short walk to the west where you can enjoy some great walking and biking trails and the most amazing sunsets. GaGa's Getaway is in a prime central location which means you can enjoy the sights, activities, dining options, and shops the OBX has to offer.
Beach Access: Conveniently located close to the beach. Head east out of the home to the stoplight at the end of West Helga Street. Continue one block to the Helga Street Beach Access, or drive to the parking lot located at Hayman Boulevard, just a few streets south on Route 12.
If you are unable to enjoy a full week GaGa's Getaway allows you to book a 3-night minimum stay anytime.
No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee. *Note: Backyard fence is not fully enclosed.
Milepost: 5.50. Parking for 3 Cars.
All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.
Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

We had not been to OBX for many years so renting a house was a bit concerning. We can safely sat that we hit the jackpot on this house. From the start we were able to check in a few hours early. The house was in perfect condition. Clean, well equipped, the furnishing were comfortable and stylish, and we had plenty of space for 6 adults. The beds were very comfortable, which is often not the case. The house is located on a street that has a traffic light at route 158 which made it safer for crossing the busy highway. It was about equal distance, roughly 1/4-1/3 miles, to the beach or the bay, and we took full advantage each day. The beach at the end of Helga St was not crowded, clean, and the water was crystal blue. There were minor issues with kitchen utensils and we sure missed having an air fryer. Which meant we had to heat up the oven. But we cooked several big meals each day and the kitchen has plenty of counter space and amenities to prep. The property management company was top notch as well. We had a small electrical issue and when I texted, I got a response within 10 mins. We are former VRBO homeowners and have stayed in many around the country. This house ranks very high on our recommendation list.

The house was very well maintained and updated inside. Everything was super clean and looked exactly as photographed. We enjoyed our week stay and can't wait to return!
