Eco Suites El Zonte

Staff couldn’t have been nicer - must have been 25 people working there. Photos were pretty accurate, it is a collection of surf shacks, and bathrooms in each reflect that (low pressure, limited hot water if any), but I would stay there again for sure. Do not expect to be able to walk onto the beach, smooth rocks, but all rocks - could put your feet in with water shoes. The pools and environment are great, and breakfast is included. Hard to beat that. Overall the staff won me over - low budget and solid choice, would be a great place for hosting a guys trip

Room 21 was awesome the bad thing is that at nite the alemndra tree kept me awake all nite and scaring me off because of the load bang overtime it hit on top. I ask next morning for another room and they gave another room not as nice but was able to sleep. That place is beautiful, very clean and nice staff.

Pros: -The outdoor lounge area was beautiful, very comfortable and a great setting. -The breakfast here was delicious and quick. -Can entry and exit right onto the beach. Cons: -The rooms were a bit underwhelming -Our bathroom had a constant puddle in it either from the sink or shower leaking -The pillows weren’t very comfortable -The room had a bit of an odd smell to it. I was expecting a bit of a better room as the outside was done beautifully. I think they should have the option for family members to come visit without any troubles if they’re buying drinks at the bar and not causing trouble. My family originally wanted to stay here but rooms were unavailable when they went to book but became available 2 hours later when I had messaged them. They were asked to leave but the three of us had no problem going to their hotel and using their pool/bar. We also had messaged about a late check in as our plane was 3 hours delayed which was replied to as no issue but when we got there security didn’t seem to know we were coming, he requested our room number but we did not receive one via WhatsApp or online so there was a bit of a wait to get to our room.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL DONT GET ME WRONG HOWEVER THE ROOM HAD A WEIRD SMELL AND THERE WAS A LOT OF MOLD BUILD UP. ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN EVERY DAY. I WAS SOLO TRAVELING AND I WAS VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BY THE WORKERS STARING AT ME A LOT.
