Our newly remodeled, 100-year-old, farmhouse is nestled in the valley of, you guessed it, three beautiful peaks! You will be greeted each morning with an abundance of nature, wildlife, and the views of a once-was functioning farm!
Main floor contains single "master" bedroom and second floor has four additional bedrooms.
Yard and board games are yours to respectfully utilize, along with grill and firepit.
Equal distance between Rushford and Houston, both have dining and activities for you to explore.
Not 500 yards from the 42 mile-Root River Trail paved entrance, the options to walk, run, bike, or ski, are at your disposal! Vinegar Ridge Rec Area (over1,000 acres) hosts 6 miles of horseback riding trails and canoeing streams available for your use (BYOH and keep them in our horse shelter on-site)! Country Club golfing, State parks, disc golf courses, boat tours, and more, are conveniently located near by.
For the safety of our guests and neighbors, we do not permit access outside of the immediate farm yard. Absolutely no hunting allowed.

The perfect location for a family weekend getaway, with a bike trail and a golf course minutes away from the property. This charming farmhouse is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Root River Valley, and located between neighboring communities of Houston and Rushford. Such a cute place!

We loved this farmhouse. It was set in the bluffs of Southeastern Mn and it was beautiful! The rooms were spacious and fit all of us nicely. Loved the big kitchen! We managed with 1 bathroom and 11 of us which was not ideal, but accurate for a farm home. Most farmhouses only had 1 bathroom with large families. This house was located in close proximity to town, but far enough away to feel like you were definitely in the country. Our family is already talking about coming back in the future.

6 adults utilized the rental and we were very satisfied. House had what we needed for cooking cleaning and sleeping. TV had a subscription package and the living room had seating for everyone. Very good set up for our needs.
