Tiny House #1 at the Stow Cottages at Chautauqua - This airy two bedroom "tiny home" is settled directly on beautiful Chautauqua Lake! Part of the Stow Cottages at Chautauqua, our mini resort has a beautiful lakefront lawn, private boat docks, fire pits, picnic tables, and even a little beach where you can dip your toes into the water! Tiny House #1 is quite spacious, despite its name. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a full kitchen, full bathroom, dining area, and living room with 2 sofa beds. There's even a reading loft in the eaves! The sliding glass door directly overlooks Chautauqua Lake and there's a private sitting area right outside your door. A New A/C System was installed in the summer of 2026! (Wall Mounted Mini-splits). We are located just steps from the historic Stow Ferry, which provides convenient (and quaint) access to Bemus Point for dining and shopping.

The tiny house was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the Lake. We booked for 2 nights so we could attend events at Chautauqua Institute. We shared the grounds with @ 3 other families with a number of children. They were well behaved but kinda took over the grounds. Not really a problem but they did leave bikes and toys and occupied the common grounds. They left the same day we did.The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We will return for other institute events.

Great location, we enjoyed our cozy lakeside cabin. Well appointed. The AC was an indoor unit and a little noisy but it kept things cool.
