Completely renovated in 2025 — new kitchen, updated bathrooms, fresh coastal palette, and new furnishings throughout. While Away A is a ground-level Holmes Beach vacation rental where the master bedroom opens directly to a private fenced heated pool, the EV charger is built in at no extra fee, and the beach is a 1-2 minute walk from the front door.
The private fenced pool is for the exclusive use of While Away A guests — fully enclosed for privacy and security. The pool deck has shaded seating and the yard is well-maintained.
Two bedrooms sleep six. The master has a queen bed with direct pool access and an en-suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a twin-over-queen bunk — the right configuration for families with kids or two guests who want their own sleeping level. The living room queen sleeper handles the sixth guest. Two full bathrooms. In-unit washer and dryer.
The kitchen is fully redesigned with new appliances and stocked for meals at home — the ice-making fridge has been a practical upgrade that guests specifically notice on beach days. High-speed WiFi. Keyless entry. Central AC keeps the unit cool through peak summer.

The place was wonderful, very clean and had everything we needed. The pool area could have used an umbrella or two as it gets very hot back there but that’s not a big deal at all. Everything u could possibly needs is only 5-15 minute away. Walk to the beach was about 6-7 minutes. Easy flat walk too. The automatic refill water pitcher in the fridge was awesome. :) beach chairs were great too there are 5 chair total and two beach umbrellas. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook full dinners!

The house felt very homely. It was very clean and has a lovely outdoor area. Walking to the beach is about 5 minutes and some lovely bars within walking distance.

I can’t say enough good about our recent stay at this rental! Everything was absolutely wonderful! We love AMI and this house made it even better! The property staff were so quick to answer ANY questions. We are hoping to return next year. We had a great time! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an awesome location! However, the interior of the property appears to be in the process of being fixed up. The private pool was dirty, the toilet/shower had issues, and the blinds didn’t work properly. There is empty paint containers in the closets, random boxes, and a variety of other surprising items.
