The Sea Glass Cottage offers an unforgettable Garden Isle vacation. This custom-designed Hawaiian style Cottage is located just steps from Poipu Beach. The 2-bedroom, 2 bath Sea Glass Cottage graciously combines the beauty and simplicity of a classic Hawaiian home with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The cottage melds seamlessly with the historic neighborhood and the adjacent ancient Hawaiian Village. Its airy and open island style mixes old Hawaii and modern luxury.
From the minute you walk in the door at the Sea Glass Cottage you will know you made the right decision. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with its large Lanai and beautifully landscaped yard. It's definitely a welcomed treasure to the Poipu Beach area.
The home offers two master suites with large walk-in showers, plush king beds, ample closets, smart TVs and access to the double outdoor shower. Step out through the indoor shower to the outdoor shower to shower under the star filled Hawaiian sky. Come spend time on the spacious covered lanai, which opens up to the indoor spaces through a folding glass wall that allows the indoor and outdoor spaces to truly become one. Eat at the outdoor dining table and relax in the cool trade winds while catching a glimpse of our beautiful Hawaiian waters or watching the widescreen TV in the living room. The cottage’s gourmet kitchen is equipped with a gas range, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops, open shelving and a Keurig for your favorite hot drinks. Enjoy the convenience of a full laundry, which includes a large capacity washer and dryer and a deep laundry room sink with ample countertop space.
Whether inside or outside, the cottage is designed to provide relaxation and comfort. Ceiling fans enhance the island trade winds in keeping the cottage cool. The abundant landscaping highlights the scents and beauty of Hawaiian plants. Just steps from Poipu Beach, guests begin the day watching the sunrise from the lanai while enjoying your morning cup of coffee, followed by a day of beach activities and ending the day with drinks on the lanai and steaks on the outdoor grill. The house was exceptional and exactly as pictured, absolutely spotless when we arrived and more beautiful than i expected. The location is fabulous, just 3-4 walk to Poipu and Brennecke's Beach. It was nice to make a pot of coffee and walk t the beach for turtles, monk seals and rainbows almost every morning. I felt save letting my teen head to beach on her own when we were winding down on the lani or cooking in the beautiful well stocked kitchen. A welcome basket or any starter coffee available would have been a nice touch and while the house gets decent air flow, ac would have been nice to help with the humidity. Overall the stay was amazing and cant wait to come back to Kauai.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property and would not hesitate to return. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

Let’s start with the fact that this property is exactly as it appears in the listing (which honestly we have never experienced before). All amenities listed were actually available, accessible and usable. No skimping on necessities like bath towels, beach towels , paper towels, laundry soap, bath soap, trash bags .. etc. This property shows pride of ownership. It was extra clean. The layout was perfect for two couples. The location works great. It’s a very quiet street considering how close it is to the beach and the neighbors are friendly and kind. Oh and the porch, absolutely delightful. We appreciated the impeccable construction and there is no doubt the owners of this property maintain and care for this home. Pride of ownership was not missed by our crew. Well done. Just hope we get to experience it again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
