Welcome to Alpine River Lodge- your dream escape! This spacious 6-bedroom, 4 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms retreat sleeps 14 and is perfect for families, group trips, or multi-family getaways. Nestled near the stunning San Juan Mountains, you’re steps from breathtaking hiking trails and just down the road from world-class fly fishing on the river. Soak in nearby hot springs, explore the friendliest mountain town around, and unwind in total comfort. The perfect place to relax and reconnect!

This unique property includes both sides of a duplex, giving your group space the entire property to spread out while still staying connected. Inside, the two homes are joined by a shared interior door, so you can move freely between spaces without going outside.
Each side includes:
3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms
Fully stocked kitchen
Comfortable living room + additional den
Dining area and laundry
In total, you’ll enjoy:
6 bedrooms
4 full bathrooms + 2 half bathrooms
2 kitchens and multiple living spaces
4 bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms
There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather, relax, and still have their own space.
Location is everything here. You’re in the closest neighborhood to Wolf Creek Ski Resort, home to the most snowfall in Colorado. Skip the in-town traffic and get a head start on the slopes.
When the snow melts, the area transforms into a summer paradise. The San Juan River is just down the road, known for incredible fly fishing, and you’ll have access to beautiful hiking trails right in the neighborhood.
Whether you’re here to ski, hike, fish, or simply unwind, this home offers the perfect balance of adventure and peace.

Guests will have access to both duplex sides, along with the shared driveway. The garage and a few locked storage areas are reserved for owner use.
We’re always here if you need anything. You can message or call anytime, and our local team is nearby for on-site support if needed.

At this time, we do not provide shampoo or body wash. We recommend bringing these items along to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Pet Policy:
We happily welcome one well-behaved dog to join you on your stay! Cats are not permitted. A non-refundable $125 pet fee will be charged—just include your pup in the guest count when booking, and the fee will be added automatically. Please note: pets are not allowed on any furniture. If excessive pet hair or evidence of pets on furniture is found, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged to the card used for your reservation.

We brought our senior kids and their cousins to the mountains for their senior trip. This house was a blessing. Everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen had great supplies, and everyone had their own bed. We had an amazing trip because of this house.

We had a group of 20 family remembers that spread out through both living quarters. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the use of the home. Only downside was the living room common areas were not large enough for us all to be together at the same time, which we knew coming in. Property owner was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Location, location, location......historically we have stayed at the Wyndham properties on the West side of Pagosa. I would have never dreamed staying approximately 5 miles northeast of Pagosa would be such a great experience. That will be our preference moving forward. Thank you, Timothy for allowing us to use your beautiful home.
