Beautiful villa, a lot of space inside and outside. Having conditioners in every room was a huge plus during our stay as the weather was very hot. Pool was a great addition and all areas around it provided spaces for relaxing and entertainment. Communication with the host was very easy and they were very responsive. Definitely will consider our stay there in the future

The villa was up in the hills, so the location was remote, but that was only a positive thing for us for more privacy. No problem to get there by car. The area and the local neighbours that we met were lovely. The weather up in the hills was a few degrees lower than e.g. in Lucca, but this was also a positive thing for us - it was warm enough to swim etc. in the middle of September.
The floor plan of the villa worked nicely also for two families with kids.
There was a good variety of kitchen utensils for cooking.

We had a great stay with 6 people at Villa Donolino. The place is exactly as advertised and the communication with Elena was very pleasant. I would advise to rent a car if you want to visit some villages in the neighbourhood. The pool is nice, surroundings are quite.
