Villa del Mar is located between the towns of Arrecife and Playa Honda in La Concha, Lanzarote’s most exclusive beachfront residential area. Right on the seafront. Just a few steps from the sandy beach. Feel the sea breeze. Savor the solitude of the beach at dawn in this idyllic place.
Villa del Mar is primarily used as a private retreat for the owners and is available to select guests for part of the year. The owners fell in love with Villa del Mar at first sight, as it offers a unique location, stunning views, and exclusive amenities to enjoy a wonderful time on Lanzarote year-round.

Enjoy all-day sunshine, breathtaking views of the ocean toward Fuerteventura, La Concha Beach, the volcanoes, and fantastic sunsets. Relax on the ocean-view terrace or on the exotic pool terrace surrounded by a tropical garden. Enjoy a barbecue by the pool. Walk straight from the garden door to the beach. Take a walk or a bike ride along the 17 km long boardwalk (Arrecife–La Concha–Playa Honda–Puerto del Carmen) with stops at great restaurants and bars.
Beach
The sandy beach at La Concha feels like a private beach for guests at Villa del Mar. As soon as you step out the garden door and cross the small boardwalk, you’re standing on the beach. The water is crystal clear. Thanks to its shell-like shape and location, you can usually enjoy swimming without many waves. That also makes it ideal for children.

Villa del Mar is just a 10-minute drive from the airport and within walking distance of the beach restaurants and all the shops and services in the Playa Honda residential area.
The villa is situated in such a way that it shields the terraces and pool area from stronger winds on most days. The pool is maintained weekly, as is the garden. Cleaning and housekeeping services are available upon request, up to daily (in the afternoons).
Parking is available directly in front of the house on a quiet cul-de-sac.
Luxury and Comfort
Villa del Mar was completely renovated in 2022 and 2023 by the owners to create an exclusive living, working, and vacation environment for themselves. You will therefore find high-quality fixtures, fittings, accessories, decorations, and works of art that clearly set it apart from typical vacation rentals.
The villa offers 330 square meters of spacious living area with ocean views, a private garden, and a solar-heated pool. There are two floors: the ocean-view level and the garden/pool level.
There are 5 bedrooms in the house, 3 of which are on the ocean-view level and have en-suite bathrooms. The 2 bedrooms on the garden/pool level share a large bathroom and a separate toilet. The ocean-view level is equipped with air conditioning. There is another restroom in this area.
All bedrooms in the house have double beds and spacious built-in closets. One features expansive ocean views; the others offer lovely garden views.
The master bedroom has a large glass door overlooking the ocean, with access to a large terrace offering ocean views. It features a spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi offering ocean views and a large dressing area.
The living and dining area on the ocean-view level is approximately 120 square meters in size and provides access to the ocean-view terrace. The ocean-view terrace is approximately 60 square meters and is equipped with awnings, a lounge area, and an extendable table for enjoying meals with a view of the sea and the beach.
The living and dining area is equipped with a large-screen TV, Apple TV, and a Sonos sound system. There is also a portable Sonos speaker that allows you to enjoy music in other parts of the house.
Next to the dining area is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with ocean and garden views.
On the garden/pool level, there is a kitchenette with a dishwasher and a refrigerator, which makes barbecuing or enjoying a meal on the covered terrace next to the pool even more enjoyable. This area also features a pool table.
The covered pool terrace offers a lounge area, a large extendable table, and a bar with a sink. In the pool area, there are several hammocks and a Balinese bed for you to enjoy the sun and the warm weather

My family and I stayed in this villa for just under two weeks and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful from the interior to the exterior, you can tell a lot of attention to detail has been put into the villa by the owners. Yoanna, the property manager, is an extremely lovely woman, our flight was delayed so we arrived later than expected but Yoanna still greeted us with a smile on her face and was very attentive to our children, who now have been calling her ‘Auntie Yoanna’. Every night in the main room you can hear the waves crashing by the sea, which made for a peaceful sleep. The villa has air conditioning throughout so it is very easy to relax when you’re inside. The location of the villa is perfect if you would like to escape to the quieter side of the island, with the beach at the back door being one of the quieter beaches, which is nice to have access to. This villa is perfect to visit as a family, group or as a couple. There is nothing negative to say at all and if you are thinking of booking you definitely should. A massive thank you to Oliver, Yoanna and the lovely cleaner, we will definitely be returning.

This house is beautifully designed, incredibly private, well decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. The views are outstanding and it is situated in a quiet area with a great walking/biking path outside the back gate. The hosts and house manager were very efficient, attentive and welcoming. They also provided many suggestions on things to do on the island. I can't wait to go back for another visit.

We have enjoyed our stay in the house. The communication with Yoanna via email was very good and friendly. Both check-in and check-out were efficient. The house is very clean, the beds are comfortable. The sea view from the living room and one of the 5 bedrooms is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and well-functioning. One very positive surprise was the mit-week housekeeping, which provided cleaning, change of towels and bedsheets. There are plenty of seating areas on the balcony or around the pool. Yoanna was very responsive when we had an issue in one of the bathroom, she immediately took action for solving the problem. Although the problem persisted, her attitude and helpfulness were highly appreciated.
There is a walking path on the beach side of the house, very good for exercise and it is very easy walking to local restaurants on the sea side.
We could hear the airplanes taking off from the airport. However, during the evening, night or early morning there is no plane noise, nor noise from the street, so good sleep is ensured.
Before check in, we were informed that heating the pool will cost 100 Euro per stay (the info was on Vrbo, but within "show more" button) and only heated to 27 degrees. As we are not keen pool people and the air was a bit cool during our stay in November, we did not use it.
The house is highly recommended.
