We reached the hotel at 1pm and went to the restaurant as it was early to check-in, waited for over 10 minutes before anybody appeared and ordered extremely average salad and sandwich. Evening meal wasn't much better, only Indian options on the buffet. Breakfast was similar, ordered an omelette which was obviously made in a dirty pan. Jam, butter, yoghurt all served in communal bowls. Pastries were dry and unappetising. Table weren't set, just a wooden crate containing napkins and cutlery. Overall, a very average experience. Room was equally average, not all the lights were working, tap in the bathroom sink sprayed water out of the sides. At 2am we were woken by the neighbours playing loud music, we attempted to contact the neighbours with no success and had to call reception who also could not contact the neighbours but they got the message and the music was turned off. We appreciate that the hotel is not responsible but we got no apology and reception was not even aware of the nocturnal activity. This is supposedly the best hotel in Mysore but it has long way to go in order to reach the expected level.
