The Old Ford inn

The Old Ford Inn is exactly as listed. Traditional decor, very clean rooms, with comfy beds, towels and toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV. Free WIFI. Beautiful building with outstanding views. The Owners are very friendly and welcoming. They serve Pub style food in the evenings. Location very close to Brecon Town by car. A lovely breakfast place just 10 minutes drive away - Talybont stores and Canalside Cafe LD3 7YJ, would highly recommend. Both places very good value for money in the area.

Agreed Check in was 3-4pm. We arrived at 4pm and the place looked closed, front door locked. So you have to phone them to get someone to let you in. Not a huge deal, but if it was mentioned, it would be clearer to guests how to get in.

Very welcoming hosts. Lovely comfortable bedroom. Great night’s sleep.

Excellent location with spacious parking. Nice room. Good food in the evening. Hosts were really nice people who looked after me well. Very good value for money.

There was nothing to dislike.

Location was good for what we needed.

Very squeeky and loud, could here anyone walking round outside the rooms. The locks are very temperamental to get into the rooms. Generally quite outdated and run down.
