Your living and dining area, spanning approximately 42 square meters, features a table for four and a cozy sofa setup for relaxing in the evening. The master bed (1.80 × 2 meters) is separated from the living area by a curtain. The kids can retreat to the separate bunk room (1 × 1.90 meters) with bunk beds. Your “galley” is equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, a 2-burner induction stove, and a microwave/oven combination. The cozy alpstyle family design immediately promises relaxation, a sense of arrival, and true rejuvenation in the mountains.
Reit im Winkl: A Climatic Health Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “localities whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial to health and relaxation.” Reit im Winkl was designated a “climatic health resort” in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderate and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions for good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air through the use of geothermal heating and an extensive bus service.
