Bridge St Guest House - Rooms Only

I liked the location. It was very easy to get to and from the event that I was attending. The availability of the kitchen, living room and other shared spaces was very comfortable and accommodating. My interactions with the cleaning staff were very professional, and the young lady was extremely helpful upon my check-in.

The parking area needs to be improved upon. There is construction going on with the building behind the house and it’s taking up some of the parking spaces. Although I was able to park my car every night, upon leaving each morning, I had to carefully drive over part of a pile of rock and squeeze past another parked car. It was very nerve-racking. Once the construction is completed, there will be a need for even more parking. You might want to include in your parking instructions, the legality of on street parking or other parking nearby. I stayed in room six. I thought the window from the room into the stairwell was odd but understood allowing the natural light to flow through the room into the stairwell. I kept the window blind closed as it allowed anyone standing in the hall to see directly into my room. I was sorry to have to block off the light coming through my room into the stairwell. It wasn’t until the last day of my stay that I realized I was totally on display to the hallway like a shadow puppet imagery. I felt very embarrassed that other guest might have seen me changing my clothes. You definitely need a thicker window blind that will prevent shadows showing through into the hallway.

Poor mattress rotation. Light in bathroom flickered for a long time before coming on.
