Tucked into the volcanic cliffs of Vothonas village, the Hecate Suite is part of a distinctive complex of whitewashed cave houses carved directly into the rock of Santorini. These historic dwellings, once home to an old patitiri where grapes were crushed for winemaking, have been lovingly restored and reimagined into an intimate retreat that embodies Cycladic minimalism, bohemian charm, and understated luxury. The suite merges contemporary Mediterranean design with the raw beauty of the volcanic landscape, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and modern.

Hecate Suite is designed for those seeking privacy, style, and comfort. Covering 31 m², it features a double bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, making it ideal for a couple or up to three guests. A highlight is the private terrace, which opens to serene garden and village views, complemented by an outdoor jacuzzi for indulgent relaxation. The interiors are crafted with natural textures and a calming earthy palette, while thoughtful details such as soundproofing, hypoallergenic linens, and modern amenities ensure a restful stay. Guests will enjoy a fully equipped setting with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator, and a selection of kitchenware for light meals. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, hairdryer, slippers, and complimentary toiletries.

The complex does not operate a formal reception. Guests are welcomed through a seamless self-check-in process, though advance notice of arrival is required so that assistance can be arranged. Staff remain available to ensure every need is met, from local recommendations to personalised services. Please note that smoking is not permitted within the suite.

A refundable security deposit may be required upon arrival, and certain services or requests, such as private transfers, housekeeping beyond the scheduled cleaning, or special amenities, may incur additional charges. All such costs will be confirmed prior to booking to ensure transparency and peace of mind.

Blending Santorini’s heritage with modern comfort, the Hecate Suite offers guests the chance to stay in a piece of living history while enjoying the tranquillity, privacy, and indulgence of a contemporary cave hideaway.
