Sun Rise House Luxor

I had an excellent stay in Mahmoud's top floor private room with sunset view. There are two rooms with a private bathroom and kitchenette. It is quiet, peaceful and sits in between the town of Luxor and the major archeological sites. You can walk the 30 minutes to the ferry to get into town or Mahmoud can graciously give you a lift on his motorbike. I was there at Ramadan and the family invited me to eat every meal with them so I never ate in a restaurant. Such a blessing. Mahmoud and his family are gracious and friendly. I highly recommend this guesthouse for budget solo travellers, couples or families with 1-2 children who want a loving and caring experience in Luxor.
