Wake up to crisp mountain air and breathtaking scenery at Yellow Nest, a brand-new 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat just five minutes from downtown Mentone. This thoughtfully designed home blends modern comfort with peaceful mountain charm, creating the perfect base for couples, families, or friends seeking an unforgettable escape.

Start your mornings with coffee on the patio, soaking in the tranquil surroundings and the quiet rhythm of the woods. Inside, the primary bedroom with a king bed and the second bedroom with a queen offer restful retreats, while the living area’s sofa sleeper provides extra space for guests. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to whip up breakfast before a day of hiking, waterfall chasing, or exploring Mentone’s local shops and dining.

When the sun dips low, gather around the propane fire pit to toast marshmallows, swap stories, or simply watch the stars emerge over the trees. DeSoto State Park is just minutes away, perfect for hiking trails and cascading waterfalls. Adventure seekers can explore the dramatic overlooks and swimming holes of Little River Canyon National Preserve, or venture a bit farther to Cloudland Canyon State Park for some of the Southeast’s most stunning vistas.

Whether your ideal day includes a peaceful morning on the patio, an afternoon exploring waterfalls and canyons, or cozying up inside with a good book or movie, Yellow Nest delivers a mountain retreat that feels like home and yet worlds away. It’s more than a stay—it’s a chance to breathe, explore, and make memories that last.
