The Space:
A wonderful blend of quiet and convenient, this creekside home just north of Rockaway Beach will place you five blocks from soft sand, the Pacific Ocean, and the mouth of the Nehalem River.
This two-level home, located in the community of Nedonna Beach, was designed to encourage relaxation. Enter into a comfortable, carpeted family room with a game table and a flatscreen TV (one of five in the house), and continue down the hallway to the open great room. There's an even larger flatscreen TV mounted above the gas fireplace in the living room, a farm-style dining room table, and a fully appointed kitchen with every essential appliance (including a dishwasher) and a peninsula bar counter for four. Glass doors lead outside to a back deck overlooking the neighboring creek and green space, where you can barbecue and dine in the fragrant coastal air.
At night, there's a washer/dryer to take care of the day's swimsuits, a firepit out front where you can gather for s'mores, a dedicated playroom with children's toys upstairs, and Wii, Nintendo, and Netflix for your at-home entertainment. One of the bedrooms - the main suite with a large private bathroom - is on the first floor; the other three bedrooms are located upstairs.

You'll be a five-block walk from the ocean beach itself, which also happens to be the spot where the Nehalem River meets the Pacific Ocean. I would definitely stay at this house again! We went with 8 people and there was more than enough room. Loved the layout of the house. There were lots of different places for there to be separate hangouts (while someone was watching a movie, and others were playing a game, etc.). Beds were very comfortable but a little smaller than expected. My husband and I are average size people so it was fine, but if you're a larger couple it will be tight. The communication with the owner was very quick and helpful. It is literally just a few minute walk to the beach. The beach is great. Very family friendly. Fire pit in the front yard which was different but totally fine. Very close to downtown shops and treats. Will probably go to this house again which is not something I normally say. Only thing to prepare yourself for if you're a regular VRBO traveler is that they have just enough toilet paper, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, and things like that for a couple days. If you have a really large group or plan on staying a long time plan to bring more toiletry/kitchen stuff. We also bought a larger frying pan that we left there, because they're only little frying pans. Overall the house was well supplied though!

Our group of 9 loved the week we spent at the property. There was plenty of room for everyone and the blue jays and chipmunks kept us entertained on the back deck. We spent time at the beach, walked the Rockaway Beach Old Growth Nature Preserve Trail, visited the Tillamook Creamery and the Tillamook Country Smoker Factory.The kitchen pots and pans need to be updated as well as the dishes for groups like ours that want to prepare their meals at the property.The bottom rack of the dishwasher needs replacing as well.Overall our holiday was great in a beautiful location with very friendly people.

This was a great house for our large family. Everyone was comfortable and had their own space. This house had everything we needed!

WiFi was not fast if factor was barely functional . Had to go to Fred Meyer and spend 40 on cables to hard wire the TV to the cable router. I let the host know. They didn’t seem to care too much. Other than that the place was ok.
