The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the total cost of the booked accommodation. This tax is not included in the total cost and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar are not issued a visitor’s card.

and a warm welcome to “Kleine Auszeit” in the Hanseatic City of Wismar.
Since 2002, Wismar’s Old Town has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Anyone who sets out to explore the city’s history can discover numerous traces of its unique past in Wismar.
By the way, “Badstaven” is a Middle Low German term for a public bathhouse, as one that existed here has been documented. There were several public bathhouses in the city. Bathhouses were often not just about personal care and hygiene, but also about enjoyment.
With that in mind, we hope you enjoy your time away and have a relaxing vacation on the Baltic Sea.

Layout and Amenities
A lovingly renovated old town cottage with approximately 84 m² of living space on two levels, featuring a separate built-in kitchen, a separate guest restroom, and a living room on the first floor, as well as a shower room/restroom and two separate bedrooms on the upper floor. A special highlight, in addition to the ground-floor terrace, is the additional attic room with an adjoining rooftop terrace.
Please note: the attic is accessible only via a narrow, steep staircase (not suitable for people with physical limitations).
During the renovation and furnishing, special care was taken to preserve the house’s unique character and history. In addition to the comfortable box-spring beds upstairs, a high-quality sleeper sofa is also available in the living room.

Upper floor, approx. 42 m² of living space
- 1st Bedroom (comfortable double/box-spring bed 1.80 x 2.00 m), dresser, hanging space for shirts
- 1st bedroom (comfortable double/box-spring bed 1.60 x 2.00 m), dresser, shirt rack - Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, heated towel rack

Attic, approx. 9.5 m² living space
(actually 19 m², but only counted as half due to the ceiling height! Please note: accessible only via a narrow, steep staircase. Not suitable for people with physical disabilities)
- Attic room with outdoor beanbags
- Rooftop terrace (approx. 16 m²) with a great view of St. Georgen, 2 chairs and a table, 2 sun loungers, string lights for romantic evenings
