Very quiet & very comfortable; we appreciated the hospitality shown by Graham, the owner, & Belinda a staff member

Due to our advancing years, my husband & I found the internal stairs , without a banister , very challenging. However Belinda helped us by giving us an alternative route.

Good base

If elderly the stairs could be a bit tricky but I do think there is another entrance

Continental breakfast which was excellent. Swimming pool and jacuzzi was good, Lovely direct walks to beach and Fowey

We met a couple of other couples who had booked this accommodation purely for the air con, we did have a bit of a laugh about the calamitous situation.

We were on a two week camping trip and decided to book some accommodation at the back end of our holiday due to high temperatures. We booked this accommodation due to the advertisement of air con; on arrival and enquiry the owner(s) did get back to us eventually, the accommodation has air conditioning but it does not cool the air. Clean air is fantastic but most people would go on the assumption that air conditioning would be a cool air system too. It felt as warm, if not warmer, than camping...so a futile exercise booking this accommodation. In addition there was an infestation of flying ants, this seemingly happens only once a year...I can't confirm or refute this fact, but it did seem slightly convenient to happen on the one day we stayed there. I'm aware more than one couple contacted the owners to advise them of the ant situation and the lack of cool air, it's a shame the owners did not have the courage to come and speak to guests in person in the morning.
