Hotel Corona d'Oro 1890

The rooms where very nice, Everyone loved the hotel lobby and rooms were very comfortable. There was some construction at the time but we barely noticed it. everyone was very helpful.

If you have your own car, parking for the hotel is not very close to the hotel. However, the bellman took the bags for us to the garage and the garage was very secure.

Great location - very central. Hotel had a nice feel to it, it was well decorated/finished and the room was lovely. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful and we were given a free bottle of Prosecco on arrival and also a departure gift which was a nice touch.

The minibar had nothing in it, not even water ( I think it was an accidental omission). There was no stand-alone shower, rather a bath with shower attachment with a switch from shower head to main bath taps. You actually had to sit in the bath if you wanted a shower, manually holding the shower head, there was no wall attachment to fix the shower head to so you could stand up. It was not a big issue in the end but was surprised there was no stand-alone alone shower or a shower head wall attachment. Never had that before.

Clean and comfortable.
