Everything was a delight. The setting, the way the table was set up, the beautiful touches of the lazy susans with the stunning crockery on it for the tea and coffee, the linen tablecloth, the homemade jams from the garden, the croissants and what tasted like delicious home made bread. The gite had been renovated to a very high standard and the couple were so very kind and rightfully proud of what they had accomplished. There was even a pool table! We used the hot tub after a very long journey as we were using the ferry from St Malo the following morning so it allowed us to rest. The bed was like a cloud and all the little pieces of decor were stunning. There was a welcome pack of toiletries on the bed, beautiful dressing gowns which for a curvy woman like me even fit, extra towels for which to use the hot tub and pool, a nespresso machine in the room as well as a kettle. Everything for a weary traveller like we were! I have added the what three words if you want to use that app as some of the reviews said it’s hard to find but we found it ok.

The toilet situation! I’ve never come across anything like this before and wish we had have known as would have happily booked the more expensive room on the floor below with a door. So in the attic rooms, the toilet is only separated by a screen. Some couples use the loo in front of each other for liquids and solids shall we say, but we are a strictly liquids only kind of couple! This did stress me out a little. It would be really good to have the room names with the facilities detailed so we stayed in Aurora, top room, with a screen only, no door. As we will be returning next year (as it’s that stunning, it did not put us off!) we will be staying in the room below which the owners very kindly let us look at, which has a separate bathroom on the first floor. This room is called Ebene which is 45m squared and has the separate bathroom.

Ontbijt erg eentonig, miste brood, eitje of beleg, was enkel compote en confituur Kamer toilet in kamer, weinig privacy en hoofd tegen schuine balk niet comfortabel

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mélanie et Julien. La chambre était superbe, belle décoration, le lit confortable et nécessaire de toilette à disposition. Possibilité de prendre thé, tisane ou café avec accessoires dans la chambre. Excellent petit déjeuner, copieux et différent tous les matins (confitures, compote, cookies et mini-crêpes préparés par Mélanie). Nous avons énormément apprécié la piscine chauffée et le jacuzzi après une journée de visite. Le gîte est bien situé. Merci à vous

Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer unter dem Dach 2. Etage ohne Klimaanlage bei über 30 Grad nicht sehr angenehm. Mini Bad ca. 4m2. Kein Balkon. Das Frühstück mit abgezählten Croissants, ein weiteres musste extra bezahlt werden. Abgezählte Butter , 1x Marmelade, kein Käse, keine Wurst. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Parkplatz vor dem Haus, nur tiefer gelegte Fahrzeuge haben ein Problem da die Torveriegelung den Unterboden beschädigt. Die Zufahrt ca. 300 Meter sind Schotter mit Schlaglöchern. Schön ist der Garten mit Pool. Leider war der Pool zu 90% überdacht obwohl die Temperaturen über 30 Grad waren.

Keine Klimaanlage, sehr einfaches Frühstück, Zufahrt zum Haus, die Einfahrt zum Parken, da ein Eisenstück mittig den Unterboden beschädigt. Sehr schmale Treppe in die 2. Etage, Bad ca. 4 m2. Pool überdacht bei über 30 Grad.
