We had a lovely time at Lon Cottage, where we thought the accommodation layout worked really well. The boys took the massive downstairs bedroom, which they could use to quench their thirst for gaming without the rest of us, but in close enough proximity that we could keep an eye on them easily!
The kitchen/lounge works really well and we enjoyed a number of meals and games round the huge table, or chilling on the comfy sofas.
The location's very peaceful and it was lovely to get a tour of the animals that Ailene keeps on site (but well away from the cottage).
Lots to do in the area, with trips to Dundee (Discovery) and Perth, plus Glamis Castle and Scone Palace, not to mention a couple of bike rides and trips to Pitlochry and into the hills beyond.
No hestitation in recommending.
